Join Javier, our experienced barista and coffee ambassador, for an authentic coffee cupping experience - the same technique used by coffee roasters worldwide to grade the coffees they source.

The session starts with Javier preparing fresh coffee beans and placing them in identical cups for you to compare and discuss the nuances and characteristics of each coffee. Then, hot water is added to the beans so the aroma becomes more apparent.

Once you've evaluated the aroma, it's time to taste. The coffee-tasting process involves slurping the coffee loudly to allow the liquid to coat your tongue and provide a full range of flavors and sensations. You'll be encouraged to note the coffee's body, acidity, sweetness, and unique flavor notes, which can range from fruity and floral to nutty or chocolatey.
